Musician, Educator, Coach

Acclaimed Singer Songwriter

I am a singer-songwriter whose journey from London to Newcastle to New York to Hampshire has been shaped by a rich musical history. In my work as a sought after session drummer, I have shared the stage with icons like Mick Jones (The Clash), Huey Morgan (Fun Lovin’ Criminals), and Gary Kemp (Spandau Ballet), while also contributing to BBC sessions. Now, I’m channeling that experience into my own music, blending folk, Americana, and soul, with captivating songwriting and exceptional storytelling allow I aim to connect with audiences, delivering music that is both honest and relatable.

Experienced Musician, Qualified Teacher

Music has been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember — I have always written and performed my own music and also enjoy helping others discover their own joy in playing.

I’m a musician based in Hampshire, working with students of all ages and abilities, from absolute beginners to advanced players. I focus on drums, guitar, music production, songwriting, and theory.

I’m a fully qualified teacher, DBS cleared, and have spent over fifteen years teaching classroom music in secondary schools and twenty-five years working with young people in a range of educational settings. For seven of those years, I was Director of Music at Enfield Grammar School, where I loved inspiring young musicians and finding creative ways to help each student shine, no matter their starting point.

Before teaching, I was lucky enough to spend a decade as a full-time professional musician, touring and recording with incredible artists such as Mick Jones (The Clash), Gary Kemp (Spandau Ballet), and Huey Morgan (The Fun Loving Criminals). Those experiences not only shaped me as a player but gave me a deep understanding of what it takes to perform with confidence and authenticity.

My approach is simple: music should be fun. Lessons are tailored to your interests, so whether you dream of playing your favourite songs, joining a band, or just picking up a new hobby, we work at your pace. If something feels tricky, we break it down and build up step by step — celebrating each milestone along the way.

Many of my students and their families will tell you how much they’ve grown musically and personally through our lessons, but the best way to find out is to try a session yourself.

If you’d like to start your musical journey, or take it to the next level, I’d love to hear from you.
